Our server, like many others which host Wordpress sites have been experiencing brute force attacks recently.
While security remains intact and the affected accounts remain in good standing, and will continue to do so, given the volume of the the attacks, you may experience brief latency issues that may cause a brief time out. We are actively implementing additional security measures to stop the attacks before it hits our servers, and additionally moving many of the affected accounts onto larger machines to soak up the resource spikes.
We apologize for the issues these individuals have caused for a select few of you, however please know we are working as hard as we can to keep you safe, the node performing as it should be and the hackers off our network. Again I'd like to repeat that the security of your data is not an issue (still, be sure to double check that your wordpress installation is up to date), it is simply the mass connections resulting from the hordes of failed attempts that are causing a high load on the shared nodes.
